If your skin tells a story too,
you're not alone.
When my son started having eczema flare-ups, I searched everywhere for something I could trust on his skin. Something gentle. Something effective. Something honest. Everything I found was too harsh, too synthetic, or too far removed from what the body actually needs.
So I started making it myself. Through deep research, careful experimentation, and a profound respect for what plants can do that chemicals can't, I developed formulations that brought real relief to his skin. What began as a mother's instinct to protect her child became something much larger.
Because I carried my own story too. Burn marks from long nights as a baking entrepreneur — working ovens hotter than I should have trusted. Sunspots from lying on the beach in St. Martin, where I lived for three years. And acne scars — years of cystic acne and hormonal shifts, my body constantly trying to find balance.
For a long time I saw these marks as flaws. But eventually I understood something different. My skin was responding to my life. And in that understanding, I found a calling: create care that feels intuitive, for everyone.
Oma Organics was created with that understanding. It wasn't born from trends. It wasn't born from perfection. It was born from listening — to my body, to my son's, to the stories written on our skin. Everything is made by hand, in small batches, right here in Atlanta. When one piece of the process slows down, everything waits its turn. We don't substitute. We don't rush. We don't cut corners.
Founded in 2020. "Oma" means "Good" in Igbo. Not louder. Not trend-driven. Not performative. Good means care that works with your body, scent that feels personal, products that earn their place. No matter what you order, no matter how it arrives — you can always expect goodness. In the ingredients, in the intention, and in the experience. That's just how we do things at Oma.
