A Garden to Wander Into
Travel gives me room to be curious. Away from my familiar surroundings, I find myself paying closer attention—to a place’s beauty, its rhythms, and the feelings I carry home.
UBI draws on my love of travel and my fascination with the imperial gardens of Asia. My visit to Vietnam last year belongs to that wider journey of discovering places beyond home and finding inspiration along the way.
For this perfume, I imagined a garden I could enter through scent. Gardenia and white ginger lily bloom among white, pink and blue lotus. Yuzu brings brightness to the opening; vanilla gives the flowers a soft place to settle.
UBI is that imagined garden, composed from the things that draw me outward: flowers, discovery, and the pleasure of allowing myself time to wander.
