The Sweetness I Remember
Before UTÓ, there was chilled Ribena after school. There was my mother baking cakes, and me waiting to lick the spoon.
I remember the sweetness, of course. But I also remember who was there: my mother, her care, the comfort of her embrace. Those ordinary pleasures became part of what home means to me.
When I created UTÓ, blackcurrant and vanilla brought me back to those memories. Cacao, tonka bean and beeswax gave the fragrance warmth and depth—a way of carrying that sweetness into my adult life.
